Located in Stonewall, you are surrounded by some of the best wineries, breweries, distilleries and dance halls of the Texas Hill Country. The retreat is situated on a beautiful 16-acre site, just 2-miles south of the US-290 wine corridor and less than 20 minutes from Fredericksburg.
The retreat is named after Martinsburg, the original name of the town of Albert, located just 3-miles down the road. Today it is home to the Albert Dance Hall and Ice House. Martinsburg was established in 1877 and originally a stage coach stop on the Blanco-Fredericksburg stage line. Travelers would use the stop to rest and change out their tired horses. In a similar spirit we are a modern-day rest stop where you can relax and recharge.
Within just a few miles you have access to some of the best wineries of the area including Pedernales Cellars, Adega Vinho, Arrowhead Creek Vineyard, Crown Hill Winery, Meierstone Vineyards, Narrowpath Winery, Kuhlman Cellars, Ab Astris and William Chris Vineyards.
