The following is a list of restaurants, food trucks and wineries in the area that are just a few suggestions for your convenience and is by no means complete.
Breakfast:
(Tequila Jalisco food truck, located in the parking lot of Los Cazadores on US 290 in Stonewall. They offer delicious Mexican varieties for breakfast and lunch)
Old German Bakery in Fredericksburg
Lunch and Dinner:
Hye Thai (located just 2 miles up the road; family run restaurant and our go to place for excellent Thai food with a Texas twist)
Albert Food Truck (at the Albert Dance Hall; open Fri-Sun)
Untamed winery (see also wineries); one of very few wineries that serves food beyond snacks. Their pizza is delicious!
Alamo Springs Café (“best burgers in Texas”) (temporarily closed)
Pecan Street Brewing – Johnson City
Altstadt Brewery; delicious beer from tap and good food.
Leroy’s TexMex BBQ (on 290)
Oro Bianco, locally made ice cream made from buffalo milk.
Neighborhood Wineries:
The following is a short list of wineries that are in the neighborhood within ust a few miles of The Martinsburg:
Pedernales Cellars (literally next door. You can walk up there in a few minutes)
Adega Vinho (they also have a food truck)
Untamed (one of very few wineries that serves food beyond snacks. Their pizza is delicious!)
Longhorn Cellars (on FM 1376 just off of 290) – a popular place also for locals.
